Orlando Travel

Have you ever thought about getting away from the same kind of vacation that everyone takes and to try something new and different? Many of the places where many people go are popular because they are fun and exciting and when many people experience the same vacation you can feel a bond to them and have something to discuss, however the flip side to all of this is that popular sights can get crowded and expensive. We decided to try something different for our vacation this year.

We always take a vacation during the children’s spring break from school. We leave in a cold weather state so it’s nice to have some time away from the ice and snow. We’ve done the whole Disney World thing and enjoyed it, but we wanted somehing more laid-back this time. My spouse had a business meeting in Orlando to attend for two of the days that we were going to be gone. The meeting was in Orlando so we decided to look at vacation resorts in Orlando. We were pleasantly surprised at what we found. There were many to choose from in a wide range of prices and amenities. The vacation resort Orlando as a destination automatically makes one think about the theme parks; however there are also a number of accommodations that are vacations in themselves. Some of them have water parks and others included passes to the theme parks in addition to having many of their own programs. We looked through many of the accommodations at the vacation resorts Orlando and discussed them with the kids. They agreed that they did not want to go back to the theme parks. We decided on midrange lodging which included all our drinks and meals for a week. We thought this all inclusive would be great for us. Our boys are twelve and fourteen so they are hungry all the time. Having a buffet at their disposal several hours out of the day sounded great to us. They are at the age that they can be on their own for short periods of time without getting into trouble. We liked that they had entertainment for the family as well as separate activities for kids and adults.

The all-inclusive resort was the best thing for us. We stayed right at the resort for the full week. We took in the activities offered and also did a great deal of resting by the pool. We all find refreshed coming home and our pocketbook was in good shape also.
